WESTRIDE 1958XX – Authentic 50s denim in perfection

The WESTRIDE 1958XX is more than just a reproduction—it's a true-to-original journey back to the late 1950s. Every detail, from the fabric quality to the craftsmanship, has been recreated with the utmost precision to authentically capture not only the look but also the production environment of that era .

Crafted from 13.5oz Original Right Hand Selvedge Denim made from 100% Memphis cotton, woven exclusively for this style. The fabric is woven using a traditional weaving technique with a 62 x 46.5 thread count, offering an unparalleled hand and feel. These jeans come unwashed (raw) and will develop distinctive, authentic twists and creases after the first wash.

Characteristic vintage details include:

  • Offset belt loops

  • Hidden rivets

  • Original buttons and rivets

  • HELLINGS Bar Stitch on the pockets

  • Paper patch with single-thread seam

  • Rayon tab with ® mark on both sides

  • Slightly curved back pockets with distinctive HELLINGS stitch (registered WESTRIDE trademark)

Even small irregularities such as loose stitch spacing or deliberately placed thread skips are faithfully reproduced – just as they would have been in genuine deadstock XX from the late era.

Fit:
Classic 50s straight fit with a medium rise and comfortable thigh width.

Please note that this product is sold unwashed .

The dimensions given refer to the unwashed condition .
The following shrinkage occurs during washing and drying:

  • Waist size: approx. 6–8 cm

  • Inside leg length: approx. 7–8 cm

After washing, the waistband and other areas expand slightly when worn.

Please note that variations may occur depending on the individual product and washing conditions.

Example: If the waist size is stated as W34 , the actual waist size after washing is approximately W32 .
For a stated length of L36 , the actual length after washing is approximately L34 .

Waist measurement method:
Lay the pants flat with the button fastened. Measure the bottom edge of the waistband; this measurement is doubled to determine the waist size.
All other measurements are also taken while lying flat.
