The Mister Lou is based on the legendary MP1339 “Motor Patrol” last, which provides a slimmer shaft, a narrower heel, and a more balanced silhouette than classic engineer boots. This ensures the boot sits securely on the foot and is excellent for wearing under denim—without appearing over-dimensioned.

For this custom, only premium leather is used:
Deep black HORWEEN Horsehide on the shafts, backstays, and instep straps ensures maximum stability and an extremely dense, durable surface. This is contrasted by Roughout Brown Chromexcel® on the vamps, counters, and top straps—rugged, grippy, and designed to develop a unique patina with wear. This material combination gives the boot a striking, functional look with tremendous aging potential.

The boot is crafted using traditional stitchdown construction, which not only provides exceptional durability but also allows for subsequent resoling—a true lifetime boot. The Wesco Super Grip BR Sole offers excellent grip in everyday life as well as on the bike. Massive Solid Brass Roller Buckles on the shaft and instep underscore the uncompromising commitment to function and longevity.

Fine details such as light brown contrast stitching on the upper, the white outsole stitch, as well as classic WESCO construction features like triple-needle stitching and the characteristic V-stitch backstay make it clear: this boot is not a fashion item, but a tool—built for decades.
