WESTRIDE × WAREHOUSE – W1947XX LIMITED DENIM
A Tribute to the Golden Age of American Denim.
When two giants of the Japanese denim scene collaborate, you can expect something extraordinary. With the W1947XX LIMITED, WESTRIDE and WAREHOUSE present an exceptionally faithful reproduction of a classic American jean from the legendary 1946/47 era.
WAREHOUSE is known for its uncompromising passion for authentic vintage reproductions. Together with WESTRIDE, they have created a denim model that almost authentically recreates the characteristic details and original aesthetic of these early XX jeans.
THE DENIM
At the heart of the design is an exclusively used 7.0 × 7.0 SELVAGE BANNER DENIM by WAREHOUSE. This special fabric is made from a specially developed yarn blend sourced from three US states and is based on the original denim fabrics of that era.
The fabric's characteristic, slightly irregular texture creates an authentic vintage look and promises a unique and exciting fade development with continued wear.
