The Custom Mister Lou – Style 7600BRCXLBKH is an engineer boot developed exclusively for The LowDown , combining classic WESCO DNA with a modern, carefully curated combination of materials. This model is made exclusively to pre-order and is aimed at connoisseurs who seek uncompromising craftsmanship and lasting quality.

The Mister Lou is based on the legendary MP1339 "Motor Patrol" last , which results in a slimmer shaft, a narrower heel, and a more balanced silhouette than classic engineer boots. This ensures a stable fit and makes the boot ideal for wearing under denim – without looking oversized.

Only premium leather is used for this custom project:
Deep black HORWEEN Horsehide on the shafts, backstays, and instep straps provides maximum stability and an extremely dense, durable surface. In contrast , Roughout Brown Chromexcel® is used on the vamps, counters, and top straps – robust, grippy, and designed to develop a unique patina with wear. This combination of materials gives the boot a distinctive, functional look with exceptional aging potential.

The boot is crafted using traditional stitch-down construction , which not only ensures exceptional durability but also allows for resoling at a later date – a true lifetime boot. The Wesco Super Grip BR sole offers outstanding grip for everyday wear and cycling. Solid brass roller buckles at the cuff and instep underscore the uncompromising commitment to function and longevity.
