The denim is woven on one of the oldest Toyota G3 Shuttle Looms and uses #7 warp and #6 weft yarns. Particularly characteristic is the grey-dyed weft thread, which harmonizes perfectly with the dark indigo of the warp threads. This combination creates an exceptional color depth and ensures a vibrant, vintage-inspired look.

The traditional weaving technique on old power looms creates a deliberately irregular, rough surface, reminiscent of denim from past decades. The jeans are made from unsanforized raw denim (but is one-wash, will not shrink further), allowing them to develop individually with wear – with authentic fades, twists, and a unique patina.

The cut of the Lot.1604 is based on classic workwear overalls with a high rise, wide thigh, and straight leg. Traditional details such as trouser-style front pockets, missing back yoke construction, and a hidden double seam that visually appears as a single seam, emphasize the historical character.

All seams are consistently made with cotton thread, which is not only authentic but also contributes to the natural aging of the jeans.
